Outside the box, is a style of teaching allowing an audience to visualize the parables and teachings of the Bible.
It incorporates the arts of sleight of hand, illusion and performance as visual aids to enhance and demonstrate Biblical teachings and stories.
Although this is similar to a stage magician and uses similar techniques, it is NOT "magic" as the word tends to imply and is not in any way, shape or form, involvement with, or in supernatural arts. This point cannot be emphasized enough!
Scriptures clearly forbids activity that falls into the categories of enchantments, sorcery, witchcraft and anything associated with that which could be termed “occult”.
The illustrations and teachings are in keeping with and in obedience to the Word of God and under the Lordship of Messiah Yeshua / Jesus Christ.
There are no secret powers to these techniques or anything that would suggest metaphysical or transcendental ability. These are special and creative visual aids to teach unique object lessons and are being accomplished by totally natural means that confound the eyes, yet illustrate Truth.
They offer an audience amazement, wonder, entertainment, mystery and surprise for the eyes all the while illustrating Biblical Truths.
Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. 6 There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons. 7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.
For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10 and to another the effecting of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another the distinguishing of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, and to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills. 12 For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit. (1 Cor 12:4-13 NASB)
And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-12 NASB)
And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." (Mark 16:15 NASB)
"Teaching the Gospel has been a dream of mine all my life. By combining my skills as a magician, speaker, and writer, I have found the formula which allows me to accomplish this life long calling."
